BIO MISO SOUP Shiitake – Miso Barley & Pea + SHIITAKE is a naturally fermented soup base and seasoning made from BIO barley-pea miso and shiitake mushrooms. Thanks to fermentation with koji culture, it has a full umami taste, contains postbiotics and is great for preparing quick miso soup and seasoning sauces, broths, vegetables, noodles or rice. The product is unpasteurized , soy-free, glutamate-free, vegan, kosher and in BIO quality.

Description
ORGANIC MISO SOUP Shiitake is a practical fermented soup base and seasoning in ORGANIC quality. It is made from fine pea shiro miso and dried shiitake mushrooms, which together create a naturally full, harmonious and umami taste.
The product is based on pea shiro miso , a lighter, milder miso with a creamier character. It is produced by fermentation using a noble koji culture – Aspergillus oryzae. Fermentation helps develop the natural depth of flavor, smoothness and characteristic umami taste without the need for added glutamate.
An important part of the recipe are BIO shiitake mushrooms . Mushrooms naturally absorb substances from the environment in which they grow, so their origin is essential. The shiitake mushrooms used come from Finnish BIO farms in one of the cleanest areas of Europe. Thanks to this, they bring a pure mushroom taste, intense aroma and natural umami depth to the soup without unnecessary burden.
The product contains postbiotics , i.e. substances formed during fermentation by the activities of microorganisms. They are a natural part of fermented foods and contribute to their taste, aroma and overall character.
The preparation is very simple: pour 1 tablespoon into 2-3 dl of hot water , ideally around 60 °C, and mix well. For a more filling meal, you can add noodles, vegetables, tofu, rice, eggs or other mushrooms. In addition to preparing a quick miso soup, the product is also great as a flavoring for sauces, dressings, marinades, legumes, cereals and vegetable dishes.
