How to prepare coffee in a coffee machine?
Place the ground coffee in the filter and then pour the water into the bottom tank below the level of the safety valve. Tighten the coffee machine by grasping both parts of the body (do not tighten by holding the handle). When all elements are connected, place the coffee machine on the burner. The espresso will be ready when the water in the bottom tank boils and the machine starts humming.

Preparation:
- Moka kettle
Pour water into the bottom of the kettle. Fill the funnel-shaped hopper to the brim with BARLEE´S ORIGINAL, do not press. The amount of BARLEE’S ORIGINAL is determined by the size of the pot, for 4 cups you will need about 30g. Screw on the top and bring to the boil. Remove the kettle from the stove just before the extraction is complete. - French press
For 100ml of water you will need 6-7 g of BARLEE´S ORIGINAL. Pour the desired amount of BARLEE´S ORIGINAL mixture into the French press. Boil the water and let it stand for about half a minute to bring the temperature down to 93-94 °C. Slowly pour the BARLEE´S ORIGINAL mixture with hot water, stir and let stand for 5-6 minutes. Then slowly squeeze and you’re done. - BARLEE´S ORIGINAL filtered mixture
For preparation in Chemex, Hario V60 or Clever prepare 6-7 g of BARLEE´S ORIGINAL mixture per 100 ml of water. First rinse the filter with hot water, pour in the BARLEE´S ORIGINAL mixture, pour in 30 ml of water at a temperature of 93-94 °C and wait 30 seconds. Then add the remaining water in a circular motion from the centre. Moccamaster has a similarly simple preparation. - Lever coffee maker
Pour the BARLEE´S ORIGINAL loose/ground mixture into your strainer in the lever of the coffee maker. The quantity of BARLEE´S ORIGINAL corresponds to the same portion as “classic” coffee – 7-8g per serving. Of course, the ratio of the amount of BARLEE’S ORIGINAL and water will help you achieve your optimal intensity. - Cold brew
Pour the required amount of BARLEE’S mixture (6-7 g per 100 ml of water) into a container with a cap, pour in the required amount of cold water and leave to extract in a closed container in the fridge for 18-24h. Strain, put ice in a glass, pour in chilled cold brew and garnish with an orange slice and mint.
