GREEN BARLEY LATTE

Green barley latte

A smooth, creamy latte with the natural power of green barley. This nutritious, caffeine-free beverage offers a slightly earthy taste, softened by plant-based milk and a touch of vanilla or cinnamon. Green lattes are the perfect choice for moments of calm, a morning pick-me-up or a healthy alternative to classic hot drinks. Rich in antioxidants, enzymes and chlorophyll – a real elixir of freshness in every sip.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1.Heat the milk – gently heat the plant-based milk to a maximum of 40°C (it must not be hot, as this will destroy the enzymes in the barley).
  • 2.Mix the powder – in a small bowl, mix the green barley powder with a little warm milk until smooth (using a whisk or mini mixer).
  • 3.Combine together - pour the green base back into the rest of the milk. Add syrup, vanilla or cinnamon if you like.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 ml plant-based milk (almond, oat, rice or coconut)
  • 1 teaspoon green barley powder
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup, honey or date syrup (to taste)
  • a pinch of vanilla or cinnamon (optional)
