Vegetable salad with tsampa

Tsampa can also be used in savoury recipes, preparing delicious and hearty savoury dishes.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1.Add the tsampa to a large bowl and pour boiling water over it. Stir well and leave to rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the tsampa to absorb the water and soften.
  • 2.Once the tsampa has absorbed the water and cooled, add the chopped red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, cilantro or parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper to the bowl.
  • 3.Stir well to combine all the ingredients and let the flavours combine.
  • 4.Taste and season with salt, pepper or lemon juice as needed.
  • 5.Serve tsampa salad as a side dish or light meal. It is a nutritious and tasty dish that can be enjoyed as part of a healthy meal.
  • 6.You can also customize this tsampa salad by adding other ingredients such as chopped peppers, olives or cheese, according to your taste preferences. Don't be afraid to experiment and make your own!
